Yesterday, we looked at the Vicious Cycle and saw that how you think and what you do affects how you feel. Today we will think about the easiest way to break the Vicious Cycle.
People with depression stop doing normal things. To break the Vicious Cycle you need to start doing normal things again.
Think about a normal thing you want to start doing. If you need some help, take a look at our suggestions below:
Eating a balanced and nutritious diet.
Meeting, phoning or texting friends and family.
Being able to keep on top of the housework.
Starting the day well by getting out of bed bright and early.
Getting some fresh air by taking a walk outside.
Setting aside time to relax.
Get into a hobby like gardening or watching sport on TV.
Pick up a paper or watch TV to get up to speed with what's going on in the world.
Going to work or keeping on top of bills.
